Aluminum Jacketing Systems are most suitable for industrial conditions existing in refineries, pulp & paper, power plants, chemical plants, etc. Stainless steel is recommended where chemical spillage and corrosive attacks are a concern.
Shur-Fit Products Aluminum Jacketing is manufactured from Aluminum Association 3000 series alloys conforming to ASTM B-209 standards. Aluminum jacketing is suitable for most general industrial applications. It will keep your insulation dry and functional. All of Shur-Fit Products Aluminum Jacketing comes with a polysurlyn film which inhibits galvanic or chemical corrosion at the metal-insulation interface.
All Aluminum jacketing can be ordered with a smooth or stucco embossed finishes. Jacketing is available in gauges .016” and .020” in cut and rolled. Each piece is cut to 3’ lengths. For additional information contact us.
