Often during maintenance or because of frequent maintenance, many valves and fittings do not get insulated because they need to be accessible. The result is heat loss and safety hazards. Shur-Fit removable and re-useable pad covers are made to remedy this situation.

Our removable pad covers are made with a variety of insulations and cloths. They are made of high-temperature and non-combustible materials that are tear and abrasion resistant. Oil and water resistant materials are also used and can be designed for temperatures up to 1600°F.

APPLICATION

Removable pad covers are used in situations where a specific fitting needs to be insulated while remaining easily accessible. Can be used both indoors and out.

FABRICATION

Shur-Fit’s removable pad covers are sewn together by professional seamstresses. They are custom-made to each specific order and can be made to fit any irregular surface. Stock pads for valves are also available.

We offer a wide range of products including coated fabrics, glass fabrics, ropes, silica cloths, tapes, threads, insulation and millboard material, as well as fire stopping products.
